So what will be his role for the story?

Obviously he is gonna assist sasuke with the scroll that suigetsu found and in meeting those sasuke want to meet.
What will be his role for in the story except for the above mentioned things?

I dont think he will just get wiped out right after assisting sasuke.

Fighting madara?
Fighting tobi? (i know he said he wasnt interested in the war, but still...).
FIghting someone?


We havent really seen orochimaru in a true all out fight.
Its something that is high on my ''what do you want to see in naruto'' wishlist .

madara says: i will answer your questions if you give me the kyuubi... then sasuke is going for naruto ( this is the only way to make a naruto vs sasuke) and orochimaru is going to fight hahcibi, gai, kakashi or tobi. (tobi doesn't want madara to take the kyuubi because he needs kurama for eye moon)

Orochimaru plans to liberate his soul arms from the Reaper Death Seal...This is what will give Sasuke the chance to speak with the sealed Hokages so he can hear the other side of the story. Once Orochimaru gets his soul arms back he will be at full power and finally face Sasuke.

orochimaru will end up as the final villain, and hes going to end up stronger than kabuto. hes one of the first villains that we knew, and yet we only know a small portion of his identity and capabilities. hes back to show us his real strength and the story behind him and madara.
