it probably came to ur mind because orochimaru is the reason yamato has wood style and orochimaru experimented on ppl like yamato due to wanting wood style!!!

He cannot use the body switching technique that often. Only every 4th year... Besides, part of Yamato's DNA is already embedded in the Zetsu clones to make them stronger. Remember, that is why Kabuto captured Yamato. So he has noo need for it.

In the same way Yamato was used to strengthen Zetsu even though he already had Hashi Dna, absorbing Yamato although Oro already has Hashi Dna would still strengthen him, and taking over Yamatos body completely would be far better than taking over a Zetsus body. We dont know if he can use mokuton already though but either way Yamato's mokuton > Zetsus from what weve seen. However I highly doubt this will happen.

He probably would like to take Yamato's body .. That way he could control Hashirama maybe or Madara maybe or
Tobirama and the other Hokages at least better. Then He can take (another Zetsu , may not be needed)
Then He can Have a better chance of Taking Sasuke's body/eyes .
