Orochimaru will be kinda important in Boruto series

Afterall he's Mitsuki's parent . We already saw of him in Mitsuki one shot which will probably be animated in Boruto anime .
And the anime always expands things so we're gonna see plenty of Orochimaru . Oh yeah in naruto gaiden also he played a role .

All villains died except orochimaru and now he has a role in Boruto . That orochimaru .

I mean let's be serious. Orochimaru lost his thunder a long time ago.

Unless he pulls a complete 180, attacks Konoha with those spy double Shin clones, and even surprises Mitsuki, then I don't think he will live up to the old, bad-ass original Orochimaru who made Kakashi shit his pants.

He's just a dad now. Which is lame when you compare him to the old Orochimaru.

Orochimaru never really wanted to rule the world, enslave all the people or anything like that. I understand that some people would like to see pure evil Orochimaru if he was ever to make a comeback, but honestly, I would rather him stay this mysterious and twisted wiseman of the series. Also, I'd love him to have an all-out fight where he dies protecting Mitsuki.

This way or another, I want Orochimaru back. Like really I'm just afraid they will try to make him a pure villain again, instead of going for his signature calm, egocentric and ironic self.

Then Itachi got introduced, one shot him with a simple genjutsu, and it sort of went downhill from there. Don't understand why Kishimoto let a simple 3T Genjutsu break one of the strongest characters at that time, purely fan service but what-ever.

Well, Itachi was clearly the most overwanked character by Kishi ever. No one who stood up to him had any chances tbh.

But the problem with Orochimaru is that the only time characters get screen time is either if they are villains or main characters. Current Orochimaru is neither of those. So the only thing I can think of is Orochimaru joining Konoha against some new villain for his selfish purposes. But I doubt that's what's gonna happen

I know it'd be a huge stretch, but it'd be a half interesting comeback if Orochimaru some how was connected to Kawaki's existence. I know there's already speculation that Kawaki may be other characters, or just an entirely unrelated character.. but it would be interesting if he was created as "the perfect ninja" by Orochimaru (using Sasuke and Naruto's DNA, and some how mimicking the seal Boruto has) but then also wishes ninja would just stop existing. Whoa, rambling now. Lol. Sorry. It's my first time back here in a long time =D
