Well if Kishi stops being so dumb when it comes to female characters and keeps the Sannin story going with Team 7 we will be able to see Sakura on the par with them too.

Actually Madara hasn't done that much as all of the kages are still standing. She can't do anything against Madara? I guess you weren't playing attention when she broke his Susanoo, or when she used his own Susanoo sword against, or when she took out a Susanoo Clone, or when she forced Madara to use a Wood Clone to avoid be sealed. I also think your forgetting that without Madara's eyes you can't distinguish between wood clones and the real deal and if still she came up with a counter plan that would allow him to be blitzed by Oonoki which involved her voluntarily taking Yasaka Magatamas head on. The same way she voluntarily took on Madara's Katon. She could have moved out of the way, but then they wouldn't have known about preta path or the other kages would've been severely burnt. She may in fact have a Sage Mode and even if she doesn't she is already competing with the other sannin in terms of strength. If she does it will probably make her the strongest sannin. Kakashi died when he used too much chakra. If you don't know what chakra is then of course you don't understand why she went into a coma. Chakra is the combination of of spiritual and physical energy. Which means if you no longer have physical energy how can your body continue to do bodily functions such as pump blood, breathe, move,etc. How could you brain continue to function?

I can see Tsunade inacting this jutsu while multitasking as she always holds the jutsu that keeps her looking young, while using augmented monster strength, while using forbidden jutsus, or how she keeps up her technique while she heals.In addition to the obvious fact that Katsuyu can crush people. Which leads me to believe that Genjutsu won't be very effective on her as she firstly has such excellent chakra control as mentioned above so if she stops her chakra flow the genjutsu is ended in addition to knowledge of how it works, how it affects the brain, and how to treat it.
Against Pein Jiraiya would not have known his secrets as hokage and still would've died. It was Jiraiya's death that pushed Naruto to learn Sage Mode. So he wouldn't have been strong enough to defeat Pein.
Which would have left Konoha destroyed. Jiraiya and Naruto dead. and Akatsuki with the 9 tails.
If Pein invaded on Oro it's arguable if prime Oro could have won with edo-tensei. Though soul stealing suggest otherwise.

What I think though is that every Sannin has a unique power that would be hard to put one in front of the other, or to determined who is stronger, I think they are all on the same league and strength level, which is why Kishi named them the three legendary Sannin, who would actually have thought that Orochimaru would still be alive till now? that's what I call LEGEND indeed.
I'd say they are all to close to really tell which is the strongest. They all have attributes unique to them and could all pose a threat to each other, though it is highly debatable.

for people who keep saying that itachi said both him and kisamie would loose to jiraiyia i ask this question which excuse would he give akatsuki for not bringing back naruto if he did beat jiraiyia?also orochimaru is a bijiu without tail no scratch that only he knows what he is cos that guy does not run out of chakra
