Orochimaru Wanted The Rinnegan! - Mastery of all Jutsu! - Not Just Sharingan!

Basically...

All along Orochimaru has wanted eternal life so he could seek the secrets of all ninjutsu, but for some reason - immortality wasn't enough for Orochimaru and here is why:

Oro targeted the Uchiha for their Eyes because HE KNEW that the RINNEGAN was the NEXT level of Sharingan (as stated by madara himself)
Madara is referenced as 'knowing the secrets of everything' (By sasuke who has read the scroll - knowledge which are yet to receive)
This person COULD ALSO BE ORO? and if so - Sasuke will find a way for Oro to return and speak with Sasuke...

The basic point of this thread is:
The reason that Oro was targeting Sasuke and Itachi was for their Sharingan - the sharingan is the first step to recieving the rinnegan - and ability which is and helps to - create, understand and is the key to ninjutsu at its essence...

This is obvious, kabuto said orochimaru was hypothesising and he worked out that after the sharingan you get rinnegan

Exactly, Oro knew about Rinnegan being the next stage to Sharingan, i dont think that most people then considered that it was the reason Oro seeked Sharingan so desperately. (atleast i didnt lol)

well at least he has to get somehow the rinnegan to truely master all jutsus, because he at least wont be able to perform all nature jutsus without it. max 2.

Also it makes sense as orochimaru was really crazy about getting all of the ninjutsus in the shinobi world and the rinnegan is a obvious way of getting all the element releases.

This is what I've believed all along that Orochimaru knew about all of this. He wanted Sasuke's Body for sharingan and Ms, and itachi eye's for EMS. He was also experimenting with the first's DNA as well because he knew from the scrolls and the uchiha clan secrets that the rinnegan was the evolution.
