Tobirama murks literally in both scenarios. Orochimaru has nothing on him. ftg in base murks him and suiton in hydra form if that is even worth anything.

I think he could make it in time, considering the lag time is about 2-3 seconds (probably more, but the manga simply transitioned to skip all of that). In regards to the bold, I'm talking about this:

You see how Sasuke is the host of the technique? Staying stationary the whole time, in a coddled position. I believe Orochimaru's case would be similar in execution. I believe this because for one, Orochimaru has been shown to openly pop out of his own mouth as seen when he oral rebirths, and when he entered from the hydra's mouth.

Vs Sasuke to enter his white snake form, he shot out of his body.

Vs Itachi he shot out of the hydra's mouth

He's done that shit so many times, I'm inclined to believe he can simply recreate versions (parts of his conscious) of himself (like oral rebirth) over, and over with just chakra. I mean the basis of all his techniques obviously is chakra. Basically like creating clones.

Back to my main point.

Sasuke was the host of the technique seen when Totsuka Blade absorbed the Eight Branches technique, you can see at the bottom panel the chakra leaving Sasuke's body, noting that he was indeed the host. Plus the fact that the Hydra did not move physical (like slither or w/e) has me inferring further that the host's body = how this technique is conjured/surfaced.

There's no way he's crossing 50m AND killing Orochimaru before the transformation starts. Once it starts he can't target his neck to take his head off anymore. It's not happening via raw foot speed (especially since he's lacking in feats in that department) and it's definitely not happening via Hiraishin since Orochimaru can deflect the Kunai or merge the ground.

Sasuke was only stationary the entire time because Orochimaru used the technique from his body. If Orochimaru uses it on his own he'll transform the same way with him in the middle head of the Hydra. What you are saying is plausible but there's really no reason to believe that over what I'm saying.

-Oral Rebirth = FTG mark removed

-1000 snakes takes care of any FTG plantations, as they will swallow them out off the field

- Spores can absorb Tobirama's chakra, and once transfers back to Orochimaru can duplicate his chakra nature along with his Suiton jutsus, and appearance, so he will never distinguish his clones from Orochimaru.

- 8 Branch, using Tobirama's own Suiton over powers him.

- Orochimaru's true form is a perfect counter for continuum blitz kill via poison.
