[VS] Orochimaru vs. Tobirama

[makosheva7]

Location: Forest
Starting distance: 50 m
Intel: Manga

Restrictions: ET
Conditions: Tobirama is alive.

SC2: Edo Tobirama instead (so can use that consecutive chain exploding tag tech)

Tobirama can't really put down Orochimaru in S1. If Suidanha can chop the heads of Eight Branches off then he wins. Otherwise he gets outlasted and loses.

Tobirama rapes in S2 though. Gojo one shots.

FTG Slash that nigguhs head off wym? For Eight Branches, if severing wave can cut the God Tree I'd assume it could cut off some simple hydra head, which didn't even have any durability feats etc. I'm actually surprised you didn't say S1 was a stomp tbh, seeing how bad Tobirama outclasses Orochimaru.

Using a simple Suidanha when Orochimaru goes hydra right through his f*cking core, slicing Orochimaru in half is basically a gg.

I mean this unknown spit attack, that Tobirama launched at Madara had to be blocked by Susano'o (I have no doubt that blocking with Susano'o was justified against Tobirama you don't know what the hell he'd do, and Madara having fought both Hashi, and Tobirama for years must've known what it was).

If a spit can make Madara block with Susano'o, damn Suidanha can dice up Orochimaru with ease.

:lol how

[Red Slayer]

:lol how

He eats him.

[DrProof]

:lol delete your disrespect. Tobirama low diffs Orochimaru.

[Red Slayer]

Blablablablabla

[Lord Tywin]

Tobirama no diff. He constantly shits on Orochimaru, forcing him to use OR which drains Oro's chakra.

I can agree with the Suidanha part.

[DrProof]

I can agree with the Suidanha part.

Why you don't agree that Tobirama couldn't ftg slash Orochimaru's head? Not like Orochimaru could react, unless he's got an SM somewhere I haven't seen. They start in base from my knowledge.

If Orochimaru isn't in Eight Branches by the time that happens then yeah he'd get his head taken, but he knows all about Tobirama's Hiraishin so him taking on Tobirama in Base is highly unlikely.

Orochimaru doesn't have a choice to exactly not start in base though. Its just how the battle starts unless OP specifies otherwise. How does Orochimaru even enter Eight Branches, is the execution similar to how it was w/ Sasuke? Like popping out the side of his shoulder, and shit lmao. If so, it has a small lag time, in which Tobirama can take advantage of:

I only assumed Orochimaru's conscious was inside of the Hydra due to being inside of the cursed seal in pure chakra form. However, in a solid form, and not being attached to anyone. Wouldn't Orochimaru instead end up like this:

Not even sure man. All I know is it probably has a bit of lag time, as seen with Sasuke, and that will give an opening.

Well, of course he doesn't start in Eight Branches, but Tobirama isn't going to cross the starting distance (50m) and kill Orochimaru before Orochimaru can transform. And the transformation process is probably something similar to what is shown in that scan above, but again, highly doubt he's going to cross 50m and slice Orochimaru's head off before he's even began to transform, because once he starts it's pretty much too late to do anything.

Not sure what you mean by the bold though.

I think he could make it in time, considering the lag time is about 2-3 seconds (probably more, but the manga simply transitioned to skip all of that). In regards to the bold, I'm talking about this:

You see how Sasuke is the host of the technique? Staying stationary the whole time, in a coddled position. I believe Orochimaru's case would be similar in execution. I believe this because for one, Orochimaru has been shown to openly pop out of his own mouth as seen when he oral rebirths, and when he entered from the hydra's mouth.

Vs Sasuke to enter his white snake form, he shot out of his body.

Vs Itachi he shot out of the hydra's mouth

He's done that shit so many times, I'm inclined to believe he can simply recreate versions (parts of his conscious) of himself (like oral rebirth) over, and over with just chakra. I mean the basis of all his techniques obviously is chakra. Basically like creating clones.

Back to my main point.

Sasuke was the host of the technique seen when Totsuka Blade absorbed the Eight Branches technique, you can see at the bottom panel the chakra leaving Sasuke's body, noting that he was indeed the host. Plus the fact that the Hydra did not move physical (like slither or w/e) has me inferring further that the host's body = how this technique is conjured/surfaced.

Orochimaru wins moderate/high difficulty.

[Zexion~]

Oro is lit because he has intel on literally everyone and everything :lol so he can counter FTG here. 8 Branches is wack because it got no feats however if he can exit the 8 branches when its used that would be lit, never really bothered to look at the jutsu.

[Booker]

Tobirama absolutely obliterates him in both scenarios. Oro doesn't have the reaction or means to survive a FTG slash, and assuming he gets past that to transform, Tobirama's Suiton slices and dices him.

I really see no scenario where Orochimaru wins.

Oh, and just saying "Oro has intel so he'll counter!" isn't an argument. HOW will he counter?

[ToshiZO]

Orochimaru wins scenario 1 for sure.

Quote me you salty salty man

He counters by going 8 branches from the start obviously. Still probably loses though, I just think its cool that Oro always knows everything.
