Orochimaru vs Obito

Yet he died and there was no replacement as good as him.




BUT

If Orochimaru was chosen as Hokage, would he not have died against Kyuubi and Obito?So he could continue being Hokage?

Obito would've been searching for the Kyuubi. He would have not known it was in Kushina. Thus, him and Orochimaru would ahve not met and fought.

Orochimaru was nowhere near the "immortal" being he is now. Oro couldnt even shed his skin back then. Obito is pretty much the same whilst Orochimaru doesnt have any of his unigue abilites that made him versitale and hard to kill. Minato with no knowledge wouldve lost to Obito if it werent for FTG. Oro would get warped.

I wouldn't say Orochimaru is that much worse than Minato. It's more that Minato had the perfect counter for Obito's Kamui. Not to mention the Contract Seal he used to seperate Obito from the Kyuubi.

Obito's Kamui is too much for Orochimaru, Oro is insane and legendary but Only Minato's FTG could keep him from Obito sucking him in and losing straight away. Minato was the best for that situation
