If people want to restrict Edo tensei to make a matchup closer, I don't see why they can't. Restrictions should be put in place to balance up the matchup. As for Oro's true power level, I don't think Kishi considers edo Tensei to be his true power or else he wouldn't have admitted inferiority to Itachi.

Wasn't Kabuto delusional and a liar? Didn't Itachi say that edos aren't part of Kabuto's power. This is why Itachi used Izanami on Kabuto, for using other's powers and now Kabuto himself understands the reality, hence Izanami was broken. I may be wrong though.

Oro's usage of edos can make for interesting matchups when put up against high legend tiered characters but I assume it is restricted in kage level matchups to make things more interesting.

Yes Kabuto was very cocky and arrogant IIRC. I'm pretty sure if you were to ask him now, he'd say the exact opposite. ET is basically a forbidden summoning, not the same thing as swords, kunai or puppets. So IYO, can Edo tensei be used during the Chuunin exams?

Oh come on. We are not talking about morality here. Your double standards show here as well. You're talking about ET in CExams, but you're completely ignoring the fact that Izanami is classified as Kinjutsu as well. Also, it's not like Orochimaru cares about rules and classifications...

Edo Tensei is a summoning jutsu, only a little bit more controversial. But it won't change the fact that Orochimaru can summon and use said summons eliminate his foes. Just like any other ninja does with ninja tools they prefer to use.

I remember there was something about whether or not Orochimaru could not control Minato. Someone said he could control Minato, but not Kyuubi.
Obito not controlling the 5 Tails was used as proof and I accepted it at the time. But then I realized Edo Tensei 's control wasn't being used there, Obito's Jutsus were. Kabuto wasn't controling the Bijuu at the time.

So I have the question again. If Orochimaru can control Minato, who can control Kyuubi, wouldn't that mean Orochimaru can control Kyuubi through Minato?

And to actually answer your question, then oh well. The Jutsu's a bust, a backfire. It'd be similar to Deidara getting caught in his own C4. But they can still always control Edos through the talismans.
