Bruh, Wood Release techs by Hashirama negs Itachi by itself. Especially since the branches and trunks can sprout up underneath the Susano’o and capture Itachi. Plus Wood dragons (that tank Perfect Susano’o swings) negs the Susano’o as a whole. Wood Golem is OVERKILL.
Itachi is an Edo though... so all of that doesnt even matter because itachi will regenerate... itachi can spam tsokuyomi and amaterasu until he gets his totsuka stab in... no way edo itachi loses this
Poor fanfic, Itachi’s genjutsu won’t work against countless Wood Clones that canonically only Madara was able to recognize. That edited portion is some the worse fanfics I’ve read considering that Hashirama has the highest chakra reserves in the series, genjutsu isn‘t even shown to work against him (only bc hasn’t been used against him). And let’s not mention that Hashirama has Sage Mode, he doesn’t have to fight with his eyes open, and again Wood clones neg all genjutsu anyway.
you're forgetting that Oro said it himself... Hashirama could break the edo tensi at any moment he chooses... Hashi also said in canon that itachi is a superior shinobi to himself... soooo Hashirama would never fight against itachi for orochimaru, so he is breaking the edo tensei, and releasing all the other kage from orochimarus control, so the edo kages end up jumping orochimaru ironicly while itachi sits back and lols
