Orochimaru is a member of The Legendary Sannin, and a renegade ninja from Konoha. Known for specialization and experimentation in the study of forbidden techniques, Orochimaru has sacrificed his humanity and transformed himself into a living abomination in his quest to become a more powerful ninja.
A contemporary and former friend of the The Legendary Sannin, Hiruko wished to become a strong shinobi, yet was born with no natural special abilities. To overcome this disadvantage he developed the Chimera technique , a forbidden jutsu which would allow him to forcefully obtain the Kekkei Genkai of other ninja by fusing their bodies with his own. After Hiruko's research and findings on the technique were discovered, The 3rd Hokage ordered the Sannin to assassinate him, forcing him to leave the Konohoa. If he succdes in obtaining the sharingan by way of the Chimera technique he will become an immortal and perfect ninja.
The Situtation:
While under the tutelage of Orochimaru, Sasuke is practicing a new taijutsu while Orochimaru supervises his practice. Suddenly a genjutusu is cast out of seemingly nowhere. Orochimaru is able to resist the affects of the genjustu, but Sasuke is out cold. A strange mummy like figure emerges and announces, "I have come to claim the power of the sharingan, old friend". Orochimaru replies, "You seem to be out of luck because the boy's power belongs to me". Both opponants are at the peak of their powers, who wins?
