The only way to beat oro it to make sure you hit him so hard he cant regenerate,like the explosive power of a tbb,or something of immense pressure,or a powerful sealing jutsu,sand burial and pyramid allows gaara the latter two,however,getting oro there is near impossible as the guy is a snakexd,gaara's auto defence should block most of his attacks,i dont think kusanagi is stronger than susanoo swords,and his flight will render his snake moves near useless,if this is armless/weakened oro like the one sasuke fought, then gaara takes it more than not,but if this is a healthy oro,oro no doubt.

in the dessert,gaara also takes it as he now has enough sand to completely overwhelm orochimaru,he can them sink him deep down,or use a large amount of sand to cover,then seal him in there.

I agree that Orochimaru wins here, Gaara has him beat in areas like chakra reserves and (in some ways) raw offense. But Orochimaru of course beats him in experience and he just has too much up his sleeves that Gaara along with most of the shinobi world hasn't seen.

Although remember that Gaara's fighting style is more likely to deal killing blows to Orochimaru than someone like Sasuke or Kakashi who uses piercing moves to kill, Gaara's pressure moves will have a better shot at acctually "killing" him.

are you high?,or just a gaara hater?,they didnt fight in a dessert,and i didnt know oro's bones were harder than tempered steel,and oro also wanted kimi's body because of that. That was 13yr old gaara,oro lost to 3t sasuke as well.

Anyway on topic,
oro wins more times than not in a neutral area,but if he gets in a sand burial,he will be killed,and gaara can also seal him as well. In a dessert,gaara has the advantage as the amount of sand he has can basically cover oro completely and a giant sand burial to finish it,or just create a large dome of sand around oro and seal him inside.
