Orochimaru vs Deidara

In the anime(and probably the manga though i don't remember) deidara said he'd be the one to kill orochimaru for akatsuki......what would happen if these 2 fought?

Remember, orochimaru has both hands here.

A brief look:

Orochimaru:

You must be registered for see images

He has snake summons, including manda, and impure world ressurection. He's probably more of a close to mid range fighter and an s class criminal.

Deidara:

You must be registered for see images

He has explosive clay and everything that blows up is his art.....he's a long range type fighter and uses his bird clay to hover and strike from a distance.....which is why i think he would probably win.

Both were defeated by itachi, but how would they do against each other?

The fight would be rather cool I guess. But come on!
You just have to give credit to Orochimarus techiques and skills.

Or the time when he extended his neck and threw up Kusanagi and he can extend that aswell and stabbed Naruto

Oro has Manda. He is huge. I'm not sure how high deidara wants to go with his clay birds, but Oro is quite versatile.

Now that neck and sword extends way over a mile.
And Orochimaru is really really fast aswell.​

That's the final move he had right?
Well that seemed to take some time to actually perform and happen, so Orochimaru would have plenty of time to rewind himself up and just summon Manda like Sasuke did.
Since Deidara used that move as his last ultimate resort,
Oro would survive just like Sasuke.

But hey!
Ofc there is a chance for everything to happen,
but infortunately for Deidara IMO the odds are against him.

I think oro would have summoned manda a lot earlier against deidara's C3 or C4 and would'nt have the same option sasuke did, but yeah thats what i think

Can't really compare it xd

But sure, all this Oro vs Deidara is just speculation.
And Oro has the Eight Branches technique aswell, Edo Tensei
and so on.

To me it really looks like Deidara would lose.

Well deidara was'nt exactly poppin laserbeams outta his eyes either.....i mean, he just had his arm stitched back on when he fought sasuke.

I disagree, gaara wuz probly smarter than deidara and he lost.....pain picked him in the akatsuki for a reason, also he's highly rated by the tsuchikage as well.
