You're aware that it's been several years since Orochimaru had been caught in Genjutsu by Itachi? People get stronger in time, and even back then Orochimaru was surprised that out of all people he himself go caught.

where do people get that oro shrugged off his genjutsu anyways saying he got stronger overtime is irrelevant here he still falls to genjutsu he cannot fight with his eyes close also he wont know when he is the genjutsu to break it a totsuka blitz would end him or tsukuyomi does
