Well he was in Akatsuki long before Itachi joined so you would think he does; he took his ring with him so they couldn't replace him too. Maybe they had a different plan back then than they did in Shippuden; Orochimaru could think that they'll use Naruto as a weapon since Nagato does mention using Bijuus as weapons.

I don't think he knew the plan fully as he says as he tries to kill naruto "who knows what they'll do if they get there hands on the boy" also he said this after naruto performed the rasengan so he must be think they'll be using naruto in someway not just extracting the fox

He might have learnt of there plan later on seeing how kabuto was a spy for orichimaru

Yes he did, it's also why he was after Sasuke. With everything Oro's shown and his knowledge on RDS and Sharingan and Rinnegan his goal was to achieve the power Sasuke and Naruto ended up getting. Oro knew exactly what was up with Akatsuki.
