If Obito fails and dies, not saying that it would happen, what are the chances of Orochimaru reviving him? I mean Orochimaru would definetly love to have him in his ranks of legendary edo tenseis, but would Kishi allow it for plot?

Just asking, not saying it would happen?

With the Edo-Tensei fest we've been having - bringing back the strongest shinobi alive - I don't think Kishimoto will allow that to happen with the casualties from this war. Especially not a major player like Obito. It would just be stale and redundant.

It would be a bad idea for the story. Chances are slim to none

Obito could break out of Orochimarus edo control too since he have Hashi's cells.
Orochimaru would be playing with fire if he attempts to edo Obito since he could turn against him any moment.

There aren't any chances at all. Obito right is the strongest character in whole narutoverse, I doubt he will go down that easily. I'm beginning to think that the battle which about will be like in Bleach Aizen against everyone.
