I'm creating this thread to prove that Orochimaru does indeed possess a Sage Mode. I know a lot people in here have doubts about that so I'll do my best to convince them.
Moreover, I'll try to prove that one does need to possess White Snake Powers first to even think about learning DSM.
Let's start.
I. How do I know that Orochimaru has Sage Mode?
II. Why I believe that one does need White Snake Powers to even attempt learning DSM?
III. A strange thing I've noticed.

I believe that this thread can convince some people that Orochimaru does indeed posses Sage Mode.
He is the original one and I hope we'll get to see him in some serious action soon enough
Moreover, I'll try to prove that one does need to possess White Snake Powers first to even think about learning DSM.
Let's start.
I. How do I know that Orochimaru has Sage Mode?
1. We all know Orochimaru dreamed to find Ryuchidou and learn Sage Mode.
2. We also know he did train there but due to not having body strong enough, he couldn't fully enter the SM.
3. Ok, now you may say that he may have trained there but eventually didn't learn it. That's not true.
a) Firstly, we know that he can gather Senjutsu Chakra. And not only gather but use it in small amounts - Cursed Seals being an example.
b) Secondly, there is a reason behind Orochimaru believing that Kimimaro would've been THE perfect host for him. Strong body and lifeforce that would be able to withstand the powers of the Sage Mode. Sadly, his illness complicated the process.
c) Another thing is - why did Orochimaru possess Zetsu's body after his reincarnation? He didn't have to do that. I've heard people say that he had to find another host after cutting his stomach. That's not true. Orochimaru survived point-blank chakra scalpel strikes to his chest and his throat and simply used his Body Replacement.
That being said, there had to be another reason. Yeah, Zetsu. A body made in 100% of Hashirama cells. A body capable of maintaining SM. We know that Orochimaru carried out many experiments on those cells with many positive results - for example granting Mokuton to Yamato and Danzo. He himself said that he knows everything about that DNA and also said he has interest in it.

2. Moreover, Ryuchidou is a residence of Snakes. And guess what. Who is the boss there? The Sage of White Snake.
3. That said, it leaves us with 2 users of Snake (Dragon) Sage Mode. Kabuto and Orochimaru. No other users are known and from what we know, both Orochimaru and Kabuto were in possession of White Snake Powers before having found and trained in Ryuchidou.
2. Moreover, Ryuchidou is a residence of Snakes. And guess what. Who is the boss there? The Sage of White Snake.

3. That said, it leaves us with 2 users of Snake (Dragon) Sage Mode. Kabuto and Orochimaru. No other users are known and from what we know, both Orochimaru and Kabuto were in possession of White Snake Powers before having found and trained in Ryuchidou.
III. A strange thing I've noticed.
1. Look at this scan. We can clearly see, that Orochimaru even in his youth and before any snake connections had those strange markings around his eyes.
Many said it was a painting, others that it's just how he looks. But I noticed a strange thing.
2. Kabuto, after gaining Orochimaru's powers, gained those markings too.
Why did that happen? After transfering Oro's blood, he gained his powers, but he didn't gain Oro's looks, his hair, face etc. Then why would he get the markings? Well, he could've painted them But wait...
3. Look here.
The markings are gone!
Moreover, Sasuke stated that Oro sucked ONLY his own chakra. So that means that the markings were some sort of power, some unique trait.
I think that Orochimaru was born with snake affinity, even though he didn't know that from the start.
That's what helped him in gaining White Snake Powers, finding Ryuchidou and learning Sage Mode.
