Hiruzen was in hell of a situation. What Shinobi would you think could come up with a better battle strategy than Hiruzen? I Myself think that any shinobi in this situation would be ****ed. Locked in a chakra prison with the first second and orochimaru spells death, But with the right thinking i do believe the right ninja could have gotten out of the situation alive.
