I believe that Kabuto was born from Orochimaru and Another in a past untold, destined to walk in the path of his father. Every son eventually becomes better than their father at something, giving the Father a sense that they no longer hold the title as the man of the house ext, and we seem to slightly grasp that concept when Kabuto begins to slowly resemble Orochimaru more and more, retaking both his feature and becoming stronger than the slithery sannin. Like a chip of the ol' block, Kabuto followed many of his orochimaru's ways until he became close to the definition of Orochimaru himself. However. judging by the lack of connection in their relationship out would be safe to assume that neither no the true blood relations between them both. Maybe Orochimaru (raped) or fell in love with a girl during his young past, but during the war had to leave her alone, not knowing he had impregnated her with a child. Later on the women died during the war while kabuto was at the age he couldn't quite remember her. The Fates and destiny drew them closer together until they met and were forced onto the same path and the same destruction by a Uchiha. This theory seems more or less like a fanfic so don't take it to seriously, and their are problems with time, seeing as how I mentioned Kabuto was born during the third war, when in current times he's only like 20, that would be a fault in my theory I suppose. But there is however a similarity in Orochimaru's looks compared to Kabutos; take a look at these pictures, not photoshopped but screenshots from Orcimaru's fight with Naruto, and compare the looks of his true features to that of Kabuto's.

Kabuto is slightly more darker in his skin complection, but maybe that's a trait from his mother. Remember this is more fanfic than theory, though i'd rather it be a theory. don't take this too seriously and give me your opinions!

I think that Orochimaru has performed too many experiments on his body for him to be able to produce a child through any means other than binary fission.

You may call it fanfic, but it could very well be true. I don't see the harm in labeling it a theory. Know so little about Oro' younger years. He could have had him out of wedlock or something and doesn't know Kabuto is his son.

I really doubt it, Orochimaru had to switch bodies every 3 years so the body shown in the first screenshot is just a throw away body he just recently got.
He had a nice collection of them.

The body you posted is not Orochimaru's true body. That was Gen'yumaru, a host body to sustain Orochimaru's immortality.
Orochimaru's original body looks how we always see him; with very pale skin and long black hair, as seen in his flashback with Hiruzen.

But you are half right. Orochimaru is figuratively Kabuto's father. A very strong father figure in his life. But literally? No I don't think so.

The skin under Oro's transformation tech is Gen'yumaru's.

Nice counter, I see the guy in the background with the short gray hair actually looks like orochimaru in my first screenshot, so you may be right.

This isn't a debate, it's a fact.

Orochimaru's Fushi Tensei transfers his soul to another body, and then he uses a type of Transformation Jutsu to take on his own appearance. In that case, it was Gen'yumaru:

Remember in Part 1, when he took that Grass Nin's body? It was the same then:

His body doesn't exist.

Orochimaru himself is a big snake. His soul resides in the host body, who (provided they're male) have the equipment to do so. The sperm would be Oro's though, since chakra resides in every cell and his chakra runs through the host body.

I'm sure Orochimaru kept some samples of his boys before he started tampering with his body. Just in case he ever wanted a few little snakes of his own in the future.

Orochimaru is just a large snake; an aggregate of countless small white snakes.

If Kabuto is Orochimaru's son. Can you explain where he got the glasses?

No wonder none of his lovers survived. Dirty deeds, then straight up cold-hearted murder.

Also the inclusion of many venomous snakes in bed. That kinda helped.
