If you paid attention to orochimaru over the time you would notice all of his direct subordinates have a connection with orochimaru that can be seen as a parental role..

Its no secret that orochimaru is a orphan, but if you pay close attention all of his subordinates are orphans to..
but if you notice how he acts towards his unnderlings he acts like a father.. im not speaking of his experiments im talking about anko kirin guran kabuto sasuke the sound ninja all his direct subbordinates.

look at the sound ninja during the chunnin exam everyone was competing to be orochimnarus favorite.. and when they showed the backround story of the sound ninja it should him being alone and poor and orochimaru offered him a way out.. he also knew sasuke would come to him because he knew how sasuke felt..

i think orochimaru "Loves Too Much" LMAO.. let me explain everyone whos under him holds him in the highest respect regardless of what his intentions.. think of a child who loves their dead beat dad whos never there,, the child wont judge the character of his father he would still try to compete for his love,.. i think he's a caring person who is insane, he's giving multiple ppl a reason to live when they had noone else

Orochimaru is caring in a twisted sense. He's manipulative. Most of the people he's housed and trained were people that had potential and he had wanted their kekkei genkai. Examples: Kimimaru, Sasuke, etc. He hordes people as spares for when his body rejects him. He uses these people as test subjects. And the reason? He hates how human life is so fragile, suffering in the world, wars and such. He wants to become the next Sage of Six Paths. Caring? Yes. But in a twisted manner.

I was thinking on a similar line of thought this afternoon.

I thought about Jiraiya and Naruto, and about Sasuke and Orochimaru; about the nature of their relationships. Inasmuch as Jiraiya was Naruto's Sensei who taught him for years, Orochimaru is Sasuke's Sensei. In fact, I imagine Sasuke would never had attacked Orochimaru if he didn't understand that his crazy teacher was about steal his body.

Curious how Sasuke and Orochimaru will end up interacting with one another, but I can guarantee neither will allow the other to keep them from reaching their goals.
