1- jiraiya fought only 3 pains.
2- he didn't fight deva whose power dwarves those of all the pains put together combined.
3- Oro isn't soloing pain if that is what you are implying.

1) So? Pain implied he could've taken him out with knowledge
2) Pain admitted inferiority

It's possible, I'm merely highlighting deva path's strength compared to the manga interpretation, he gains massive durability feats.
