orochimaru sommuned 3 tombs with edo who was the 3rd

[Kyuubi Uzumaki]

okay 1st was Hashirama 2nd Tobirama
But who was the third
He cant be Yondaime because he was sealed
Anyone????

[FlareBlitz]

4th hokage.

[AshTRe]

re-read the manga.

[AWSUM SID]

probably a failed attempt to resurrect the 4th but how awesome it would have been if the coffin contained Madara

[HashiramaDescendant]

It was Minato and he wasn't resurrected because his soul was sealed, not his body. U_U

[narutodarkfox]

i dont know

[Ryuu..]

Kabuto already explained that it was the fourth hokage.

[Punk Hazard]

It was Minato. The thread can end now.

[Lucidus 👑]

it was believed that it was the 4th hokage in the 3rd tomb however people think it was the 3rd who stopped his tomb from appearing ... i believe that the 3rd tomb failed anyways even without the interfearance of the 3rd as the 4th hokage was sealed ....

[Narutohokage7]

It was Minato, Orochimaru wanted to destroy Hizuren with the past hokages, so he tried to summon Minato but he didn't know about the Reaper Death Seal so he couldn't.

[Kyuubi Uzumaki]

thnxs everyone

[ryan221]

The summoning could not be complete because Minato's soul was trapped in the death God's stomach; that's the sole reason Edo Tensei failed.

[~Madara Uchiha~]

it was the sage of six ramen...... DUH DUH DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

[Chatte]

okay 1st was Hashirama 2nd Tobirama
But who was the third
He cant be Yondaime because he was sealed
Anyone????

That's why the third coffin wasn't able to open. So yes, it was Yondaime.

[Meekz89]

Ya'll sound so confident with ya'll answers but the Third Hokage did have something to do with that coffin not showing up. With Earth Style

But I agree if the coffin wasn't stopped the Edo still would have failed.
