There is no scan but its obvious Orochimaru helped him do it. Sasori was human when he first joined Akatsuki and he can't change himself to a puppet. He can rip his own heart out and put it in a can. Rip all his own organs out, his brain, lungs etc. He and Orochimaru were partnered because they both had the same goals for immortality and they both had lots of information one one another after Orochimaru had left the group. Given Orochimaru's extensive knowledge and medical expertise with what he did with Yamato Danzo, and himself its clear he had some part in it.

Kabuto was initially Sasori's assistant. Something was planted in Kabuto to make him spy on Orochimaru. Orochimaru removed it, and then, came to kill Sasori. I seriously doubt he would have come empty handed in regards to poison.
