Orochimaru Shisui

I think is way too weird that Kabuto didn't find Shisui's body..... Some people say they (Danzo ANBU) erased his existence (done something to the body), but then wouldn't Kabuto know so? Since he knows so much about Konoha I am sure he would know so....
And it was a kind of a hint when he mentioned "I don't know why but I couldn't find Shisui's body" And Itachi saying "Then he disappeared...".

So I thought, either Orochimaru found his body or he's really alive.... Orochimaru being the type of villain he is, I am sure he doesn't trust anyone 100%, and he would know that Kabuto could use Shisui's genjutsu against him. So could the other zetsu be for Shisui's?

Then if he's alive, I am sure he'd return, since he hasn't got any eye, I wonder what influence he would have... But he had the same mentality and will and Itachi, so maybe he could help Sasuke in following the right path!

But then how did Itachi get the mangekyou? Did Shisui use his genjutsu and left the eye, or what? Quite confusing here

You really dont have to kill ur bff to obtain it, extreme psychological experiences or trauma is sufficient to awaken it

Bro, in order to awaken the MS one has to experience the sorrow and loss of losing a loved one. Merely killing someone close will not awaken the MS.

Well I thought you had to kill or watch them die... That's what they stated in the anime, don't know about the data books.... may search about it..

I think he is alive..somewhere...hiding...waiting.... as for the mangekyou you really dont have to kill your best friend to awaken it. as others above have said you just need to go through some extreme psychologic experience. Example: Obito did not kill rin he just saw rin die and suffered a extreme experience thus he awaken the mangekyou sharingan which allowed kakashi to awaken it.
