Considering Orochimaru is the one who made Madara what he is now, yeah he probably did it with some sort of hidden agenda. And it was heavily hinted that he put a curse mark on Madara too. Honestly, I don't think Orochimaru was stupid enough to just let Madara escape Edo Tensei. He probably has something up his sleeve.

Orochimaru dousnt have the same interests as Akatsuki, he will likely team up to defeat Madara and Obito.

Since he probably dousnt want to be trapped in an eternal genjutsu.

That "special scroll" will likely also help id say.
