Even the Uchiha brothers couldn't avoid Tayuya's sound genjutsu, showing the effectiveness of Audio techniques. The had to genjutsu themselves out of it. If Jiraiya catches Orochimaru in his, like he did to Pein, he'll just slice off his head. You say he 'taught' Tayuya that particular genjutsu, but it is different from Ma and Pa's one. Moreover, you can't then assume he may have ways to escape it, because he has not shown that feet. As I said, this is just one scenario and i'm not going into detail right now.

Didn't kabuto have some way of being immune to sound genjutsu's maybe oro had a weaker version. Or was it light I can't remember.

I won't go into detail in this thread but I believe Ma and Pa are key in this matchup. What can Orochimaru do when faced with the sound genjutsu? I may make a thread about this.

Yes MA and PA is different but do u honestly think oro can't break free of it with a genjutsu of his own I mean he taught tayuya and he has a 5 in genjutsu

U also say u can't assume oro can get out of it well tayuya learned the sound jutsu from oro we all know that but have we seen oro use it no but we kno she got it from him

Kakashi knows 1000 jutsu

Oro knows double if not more tht it's been stated he's trying to learn every jutsu

I believe that Jiraiya is the strongest sannin but he is weak against Orochimaru. He can/would not fight Oro with his full strength just as Naruto won't, Oro was Jmans best friend and rival so he would just not be able to fight him 100%.

But you were asking who is the stronger one and Jman is stronger, he was able to fight Pein for several minutes even hours, and would have won against Pein(not Nagato) if he got them all with his sound genjutsu. Pein who was and is the strongest one in Akatsuki, possibly the strongest one in the naruto universe when he lived. and Oro was raped by Itachi twice.

Yeah Itachi did take Nagato but seriously that was just troll and Kabuto's fault.

Well I think jiraiya would be able to fight oro 95% he did tell naruto to give up on sasuke. So by this Im guessing he came to the realisation that there was no hope for oro. Which there wasn't.

But yh I say jiraiya now.

Equals, or Jiraiya is stronger. Don't forget that they had a fight, neither of them died, Oro' would have killed Jiraiya had he won, and Jiraiya would have dragged Oro's half dead ass back to The Leaf if he had won. So either it was a draw, or Jiraiya let'em go.

for orochimaru because the 1st and 2nd are sealed anyway and we haven't seen him use it any other time.

if its taking two shinobis at their prime then he should have his strongest summons available right? nagato lost gedo mazo to tobi but he should still have it available in vs matches. are you restricting it because you know oro will kick jiraiyas ass?

do you really think oro will just stand there and let the toads sing their song? in an all out fight oro will never let up. he will keep up the presure with snake summons and kusanagi.
he can use attack prevention to fuse himself with swamp of underworld.

Overall, Jiraiya's much more useful and versatile and the much better shinobi.
