What if Orochimaru recruited Kabuto for the sole purpose of continuing his research if he ever died ? Knowing Orochimaru he was a man who considered every possiblility and always suspected that someone would eventually succeed in killing him.

Before Orochimaru died he put several things in place to ensure his revival, continue his research without directly being involved and finally becoming strong enough to take over a Uchiha host.

How Orochimaru never actually died or lost any time?

Kabuto was made a main character for the purpose of making Orochimaru stronger in his absence and for him to reclaim his lost time in the land of the dead.

Overall Kabuto was simply training in place of Orochimaru and developing his Techniques for him while he was unable to. Kabuto really had no place in the anime/manga as a villian because of his copy cat nature and immature reasons for becoming a villian.

It says that Kabuto's chakra has remained but Oro's has dissapeared. So you're theory does have a lot of valid points. But to say that Oro can use Sage Mode now because he took his own chakra from Kabuto is probably going too far. With that being said, I'm not arguing about the point because we haven't seen what Oro took from Kabuto yet, asides from his own chakra.

Yes he was already but not like Kabuto, He has sennin chakra too, as Juugo said. But Incomplete. If you remember when Sasuke first saw kabuto's DSM. He said, it's similiar to Orochimaru but Orochimaru's SM is incomplete because why he's looking like nearly to Snake.

I don't think Orochimaru and Sasuke are going to the snake sage's mountain. Orochimaru said that they are going to a place that Sasuke is very familiar with so it could very likely be some place within the Uchiha clan in Konoha.

Your theory could be true the only problem i see is that Orochimaru said he was taking his chakra back .... and to have Sage Mode you need a body that can sustain that .... this is why kabuto took DNA for Karin who is a uzumaki..

If orochimaru took some DNA power from Kabuto and not just his chakra back then you theory is possible !

No. just no. In order to have sage mode of any kind, one needs to go through the rigorous training. There is no evidence that Oro went through such training.
