[Spoilers] Orochimaru not trapped by Infinite Tsukuyomi.

After reading some of the threads and reviewing some recent chapters, I have a hunch that Orochimaru may have avoided Infinite Tsukuyomi. It would appear that he has been preparing for this day since the start of the series.

When Orochimaru delivers the curse mark he can transfer a portion his essence into a target that can be revived later. As seen in chapter 593.

We also know that Orchimaru doesn’t need a real body with working organs to do it because he already is occupying a White Zetsu.

Orochimaru also noted Zetsu’s sensing ability and showed a high interest for the Spiral Zetsu. Maybe he noticed the distinct difference between it and the other Zesu’s. It’s been mention that Spiral Zetsu might be one Madara most unique zetsu creations.

Now could Orochimaru actually be hiding inside Spiral Zetsu escaping Infinite Tsukuyomi, since Spiral Zetsu does not have eyes and does not see through normal means? Orochimaru after all is the master of deception.

He is trapped within in the Genjutsu, though if anyone has the ability to break out of it then it is him.

Orochimaru was also eternally trapped inside of Totsuka Blade, he never got out.

All that happened was that another part of him was revived.

If Sasuke wanted to he could probably go to one of Orochimaru's many asylums/research facilities and revive him out of his experiments.
The ''light'' isn't shining anymore so it's safe for him if he gets revived though I doubt there's much he can do at this point.

But it also proven that he can split himself as a reserve in an another being. He had a part of himself in that women he was resurrected from since the beginning of the manga. Yet another part of him lived trapped in Sasuke for awhile. Two locations at once. So he could just have a shell of himself trapped in Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Getting a lot of hate for this idea, but I definitely agree with you! Especially with recent chapters (ex. Seeing Kaguya use Kimmimaro's Kekkei Genkai).

Let's not forget, we have not seen Orochimaru's "Dream World" so we can't assume he's in IT! Keep in mind too that we also saw one of the mummified shinobi's wiggling free from the tree!

The thing is... when you were referring to Spiral Zetsu and Orochimaru's interest, it could simply be that he sensed it was Yamato inside the spiral zetsu suit. Since he basically created Yamato, he knows everything about him. And it won't be the first time he's seen through a disguise - when Yamato and team 7 were talking to Kabuto on that bridge.

Anyway I am sure he is in the Infinite Tsukuyomi but he may have a plan as to how to get out. Only time can tell..
