Hmmm... I'll post my opinion about this topic.
1. We don't know Minato's full power. We never saw his full power.
2. Without knowing Minato's full power we don't know how the fight will turn out.
3. It's only his opinion that Oro > Minato. I would love to see that fight, but I can't assume anything based on what we know so far.

Since we don't know much I won't say who I think would win. But everyone has their own opinion. People think Oro might win, people think Minato might win. Some people think Minato won against Tobi, some think that he lost against Tobi. <-- That's only an example. I didn't say what I thought on that battle.

i think minato would win this, his ftg is definetly a big factor in this, he also has a lot more jutsu than wat he has been shown using so i dnt think its fair to say he only has a few jutsu's, im sure he also has more than 1 or 2 sealing jutsu... minato was known as a legend for a reason

Minato is greater than Oro in almost everyway except physically, but if Minato manages to restrict Oro's chakra flow by placing a seal on him (which he can do pretty easily because of his speed) Oro will not be able to regenerate and from there on Minato will find an opening. He wasn't the Fourth Hokage for nothing.

yeah, actually he can. Do you think they said he was a master of sealing jutsu if all he knew was the death reaper seal? no, Minato could seal oro w/ somethin else, So in the battle it is not one sided, though Oro is a really bad match up for Minato

i somewhat agree with you plp are forgetting kushina even stated that she taught minato a whole bunch of different sealing techniques from the uzumaki clan . which the 4th raikage stated they were powerful. plus i dont see how orochrimaru will keep up with minato tbh.

and i dont see orochimaru as ''powerful'' i just see him a hard opponent to kill or defeat. with his healing and transfering body jutsu's

At the time Minato became Hokage, I'm very sure Oro was the superior shinobi. Who was better at the time of the fox's attack is questionable, but I'd still say Orochimaru, simply cuz his snakes beat Minato's frogs and Oro is pretty much immortal.
