Guys, I think we can assume judging by the countless experiments, killings, manipulating and other considered evil deeds Orochimaru has committed he was beyond saving to begin with. Orochimaru was a good guy to begin with until he lost his parents and he blamed on Konoha. He longed to see his parents again and thats how he started to learn Kinjutsu (Forbidden Jutsu).

Fast forward to present time, while his soul was trapped, he may have finally realised his own parents died willingly (Will of Fire) for the sake of Konoha. He see similarites between himself and Sasuke as the latter also lost his family.

I think when Orochimaru said he is not interested in the war, he really meant it. He may well rekindled the Will of Fire inside him as he look to carry on his parent's will. The same could be say for Sasuke.

Sasuke wants to know everything and decide for himself the next step to take - that is a good indication he is having 2nd thoughts about revenge. I think the new few episode could see Sasuke coming to a conclusion - protect Konoha. He may well decided on this based on putting himself in Itachi's shoes. What would Sasuke himself do if he realised the Uchiha clan is turning against the village, will he do what Itachi did? The answer is yes.

So... Oro and Sasuke, an interesting pairing... let see what is next.

Dont be fooled!!!!!

1) He isnt being nice to sasuke . He told sasuke he still wants his body. But he knows he does not have the power to take it right now.
2) He is not interested in the war because both sides are his enemies.He is a missing nin and probably in bingo books worldwide.He left akatsuki and if Tobi achieves his plan he would also be controlled by the moons eye.
3) Im not sure how he feels about kabuto ,maybe he is mad kabuto didnt revive him. Or maybe he feels sorry for him so he didnt kill him!

Some guy a while back said that those chapters meant Sasuke was taking Kabuto's place.
Orochimaru meant that it felt strange for Sasuke to act like Kabuto.

Sasuke is no longer sure about who he is, so now he's most vulnerable to be manipulated by oro.

He made it clear that he just wanted his body, but he isn't strong enough now to take it.
