Orochimaru let Kakashi live

For those who have watched the latest manga why did Orochimaru let Kakashi live? I was also wondering why he didnt steal his eye until Orochimaru stated that he does not want a fake

Well for some one who does not know something you seem pretty comfortable insulting someone else's intellect. well to dumb it down for you, it happened before the manga/anime. if it happened then, then the whole manga as we know it would be different. so in a FILLER, one that came out after the manga, it would make sense for orochimaru not to steal his sharingan even though he could have.....

He could have but if it were not filler it would have been orochimaru killing kakashi in my opinion, and kakashi is my favorite character

filler have no part of the story, it's just to add parts between the manga to make us feel, like there are things happening behind the scene

Orochimaru said he didn't want a fake because Kakashi is not Uchiha and he wants not only the eye but the body as well.

This + maybe Kakashi served more purpose to him alive than death. Being able to observe how the sharingan develops inside a non-Uchiha. Or Oro just didnt see any challenge in killing Kakashi, didnt have a reason for it or didnt want to lose time or some other reason.
