Well, Kaguya's plan is to make all the chakra "one" again so that a new fruit may grow. Perhaps there is someone even more cunning and evil than her out there on the battlefield with an even larger lust for power and immortality. You get what I'm getting at =D

If it grows again, it might be the snake who gets the forbidden fruit this time.

Kind of a shot in the dark, but definitely not out of the realm of possibilities by any means.

Well if Kaguya's chakra still exists in the God Tree somewhat like Hagoromo (as was somewhat implied in 673) than that wouldn't be possible. But it would be pretty funny.
