He does. He finished the last step in SM training which is gathering and manipulating nature chakra. He just couldn't enter the mode with his past body. Now with 100% Hashi Cells body it's pretty much obvious that he can.

I mean he already showed us that he has senjutsu chakra, what he truly needed is a body that could handle it.

The only thing that could stop him from being able to use it in the series is basically Mitsuki himself, he'll get overshadowed completely if Oro used sage mode.

Orochimaru never even had an all-out, unrestricted battle.

The guy can create children capable of using SM without any training and swap bodies, so it reasons to say his handle over SM is stronger than Naruto's own handle over attaining RSM again. If Shin is an old clone, imagine what Orochimaru can create nowadays. He probably has the perfect body waiting for him to swap into when things get rough akin to Iron Man and his various suits of armor.

Because Orochimaru finished the training, has thorough knowledge on SM and can gather natural energy. Just because he didn't show it doesn't mean he cannot enter it now.

Orochimaru also has all nature transformations. Are you going to say that he cannot use Raiton just because he never showed it on-panel?

Zetsu body are stated to being able to use Mokuton and Orochimaru is in Zetsu body. Orochimaru was stated to being able to use all of the person abilities, skills and jutsu of the host body along with the benefits.

Although there is no proof of Orochimaru being able to enter Sage Mode, he didn’t do it in the war or in Boruto anime. Although what does the data book say about Orochimaru? That the only material left.
