I said the same that Oro would end up being a good guy after he was released. But honestly I doubt Oro knows Madara because Madara lived like 80+ years ago before Konoha and Orochimaru is not that old. The time gap between them is to high for them to know each other. Plus we see that Orochimaru knows Tobi.

Madara said he knew Nagato, he confirmed he didnt die and right before his death he awoke the Rinnegan. I know he probably didnt die immediately after gaining it but to know Nagato within seconds of walking out means, that he had to of been alive until the birth of Nagato.

Going after naruto would of been a big mistake he wanted the fox having Naruto would just amount to getting hunted down more intensely by Konoha. He also knew he couldnt control the fox with out Uchiha power.
