He gave in to assisting Sasuke although they are enemies, he prob learned something about the kabuto vs. Itachi fight
Orochimaru acknowledged Sauskes way of thinking for once and he reminds him of himself, so that's why he agreed

Although he will see what Sauskes road has to offer, not necesarially changed to good
