Im expecting it to do crazy damage on madara, but so far madara knows exactly what gai is doing.

If we're still talking about Edo Gai, then it doesn't matter that Gai uses tai, because his body would be nin, we've already seen Edo Minato get fodderized have his arms destroyed.
