Both Hashirama and Tobirama could easily break out of Kabuto's version of edo tensei but Orochimaru changed his body into "Zetsu clone" he improved the binding to Edo by Hashi's DNA. It worked on Tobirama but cannot work on Hashirama, because his DNA cannot affect him, so anytime Hashirama wants, he can do at his own accord.

Orochimaru even said that he can't limit his movements and must be careful.

yes he can end the jutsu, but when the souls are released, there is that free moment of control, and we saw madara take advantage of that moment to release himeslf when itachi made kabito stop edo-tensei. now, madara isnt even the creator of the jutsu, and he knew how to release himself, defnitely the tobirama as the creator of the jutsu and hasirama as the brother of the creator would probably know the same trick. it might prove a costly misake for oro if he decides to stop edo tensei without their permission, as am sure the 2nd is itching to snap oros' neck
