no i understood, maybe i explained sh!tty, obviously if you cant heal from an attack, you dodge, Orochimaru doesnt want to die, dying throws a wrench in most peoples life plans, of which Orochimaru has many. Having your throat slit and your face crushed repeatedly will kill you if you cant shed skin like he can, but despite this, he sits through the pain and trauma of that beatdown and gets up smiling just because pain doesnt bother him anymore.

Oro is a ****ed up dude, hes seen the darkest parts of shinobi history, and hes down for anything.

Orochimaru didn't fight back because he didn't have to.

He wanted to lure Kabuto to join him. Why would he fight back and retaliate if he wanted to recruit Kabuto? Orochimaru let Kabuto attack him so that he could vent his rage because he knew he could use his Rebirth Technique. Plain and simple.

yeah i guess that is the best way to put it. i know he was an idiot and pretty weak compared to just about everyone in the narutoverse but hidan is my fav. i just like guys that just wanna get in there and go berserk i can give props to oro for being a brilliant mind but i dig the soldier villains mores than the thinkers
