Orochimaru and the sharingan

Suppose Orochimaru was successful in getting a pair of sharingan eyes from a Uchiha. It doesn't need to be ems, just a 3-tomoe pair.

I think he would have then been a real serious threat and villain in the narutoverse.

If you think about it, he should have first acquired a byakugan en then a sharingan. That way he would be nearly impossible to beat, except for the truly powerful shinobi that exists / existed.

Based on the 2 scenarios, where would he have fitted on the top ninja list then? Top 20, 30? 10 maybe?

A fodder villain with decent eyes, is a decent eyed fodder. Sure going on late part 1 he was OP, but we got shown otherwise pretty early on in Shippuden. Nagato, Obito, Madara all outclass him so badly.

He'd be too OP for most to handle, he's top tier even without the OP sharingan, with it practically no one would stand in his way.. plus he'd use it to genjutsu someone into doing that ritual thing that gave him his ninjutsu back so he'd solo the etire NV

He would have been a big threat.

It was only a weakness to Sharingan genjutsu that hindered him in the first place. If you think about it, he had enormous chakra levels as he was able to Oro-Ryu Kawarimi two or three times during his with his V2 Naruto which Hebi Sasuke could only use once as
