Orochimaru and the Sharingan

With as much chakra as orochimaru has shown, being able to use his unique substitution along with multiple summonings and large scale attacks at the same time, you would think he would have been able to withstand the chakra drainage of implanted sharingan, at the very least until he obtained an actual uchiha's body. Even implanted sharingan would have helped him withstand the body switch reversal done by Itachi and Sasuke. Any thoughts?

I mean, he could have at least implanted some sharingan like, 2 minutes before he tried to take an uchiha body so they don't stop or reverse his genjutsu....

I disagree the sharigan will drain him no different to kakashi and infact will make him weaker. Oro has a stamina advantage of 0.5 over kakashi. Secondly oro is a greedy mofo, if he wants the shairgan he would want 2 and not one. Kakashi and danzo covered their sharigan eye because of its chakra drainage. I doubt oro would do something like that. If he was to take both sharigans, the process doubles and further weakens him.

I know, i know. I'm saying if i were him i would just implant them temporarily for like, one day, just to make taking over the uchiha's body easier.

I think he was very smart. He wanted a perfect path to becaming a six sage of path that is he already knew about izarangi, the sage mode training under the guidance of the great white sage snake (which he could do in his free time) thus he pursued the harder option, the sharigan and not just the eyes alone but the full uchiha body.
He knew lots of chakra may not be leverage enough (unlike others like danzo who thought adding senju and uchiha in one body that wasnt none of them would be enough)thus he decided to do it the hard way, find a uchiha, switch his body and then under go training to became a sage then became this bad a+s cocktail of a ninja.

Perhaps he had an idea what these eyes would do unlike danzo, he must have known and didnt want to take the risks besides, he over estimated his curse marks, a very big mistake.

It seems that the uchiha & senju are mixed
Uchihas have the strongest chakra but the senju also seem to have good quality chakra aswell
Senju have strong bodies full of vitality but the uchihas seem to have strong bodies almost sayian (they adjust to the jutsu & chakra consumption)

Anyways taking the unique uchiha body with the eyes is better than just the eyes which take a huge toll on those not of uchiha blood ORO may be aware of this and doesn't want to get caught slippin

Orochimaru with uchiha blood (all traits)(sharingan katon container of strong chakra potential sage of 6path) tied for 1st with edo madara

Of course he would. He's Lord Orochimaru, his own cells have such a presence that they take over your own DNA when implanted, just like Hashiramas. Look at Kakashi, a Shinobi KNOWN for having low Chakra reserves. He's able to use MS. FYI

He wasn't so much interested in the Sharingan alone, but the Uchiha's powers. Sasuke was the weakest Uchiha at the time.

Itachi had already killed the Uchiha Clan. Either Sasuke.. or Itachi, but Itachi was too strong.

He didn't need a Sharingan to take Sasuke's body at that point of time. Orochimaru was already sick or weaken.

For Itachi, Sharingan or not, he wouldn't beat him.
