Orochimaru: a moron or a scheming genius?

After making my thread about

to Danzo, something hit me. In part 1, Oro intended to invade the village with his shinobi and Shukaku, assassinate Hiruzen, and kidnap Sasuke. Of course Oro did not expect Naruto and Sasuke to foil his plans by injuring Gaara and forcing him to go berserk outside of the village. That's not the problem, the problem is that Danzo could have also stopped Shukaku, and Oro should have known that

During the Sasuke vs Danzo fight, Tobi made two very important observations about Danzo. The first observation he noted was that Oro was the one who implanted Hashirama's DNA into Danzo's arm. I'm guessing it can also be assumed that he was the one who put all of those eyes into Danzo's arm:

But what's much more important is that after Tobi makes this observation, is the second observation that Tobi notes. Tobi says that Danzo was going to try and control the Kyuubi because he had Hashirama's cells and the Uchiha's Sharingans:

Ok, I don't have a problem with that situation either. I'm guessing that if Danzo could control the Kyuubi, he could probably control any tailed beats that he wanted to, including Shukaku

Alright so Orochimaru's operation depended entirely on Shukaku going on a rampage in Konoha. His operation failed because his shinobi weren't powerful enough to beat the Konoha army alone without Shukaku. But why would Oro plan out an attack that depended entirely on a tailed beast when he gave his former boss, Danzo, the ability to control tailed beats?

Danzo would have probably let Shukaku cause chaos and destroy a good section of the village before he marched out and saved the day by taking control of Shukaku, just like he planned on marching out and saving the day during the Invasion of Pain

So the question is, was Orochimaru stupid to invade Konoha with a tailed beast because he gave his former boss the ability to control tailed beats? Or was this part of some elaborate scheme between Oro and Danzo?

Scheming genius, didn't read but calling Oro a moron is like saying Ton Ton's intelligence would let her win any fight.

EDIT: Decided to read, it's plot holes - simple as that. Regardless KA may not work on tailed beasts, we don't know for sure. All we know is three characters, Madara, Hashirama, and Tobi are capable of controlling the tailed beasts.

i agree with the plot holes besides danzou was a ***** he would not and did not get involved he would have wanted the third to die so he could be the next hokage maybe lol like i said PLOT HOLES there are so many these days its hard to keep track.

also danzou would not have shown his arm in public he would not want anyone to know hje had the sharingan and hashi face

Danzo lived in the village, if Oro invaded with Shukaku, Danzo could have come out and saved the day by subduing Shukaku with his Sharingan. He would have been the village hero and would have most likely been appointed Hokage

But it's probably just another plot hole

If orochimaru really wanted to destroy the leaf he could of had Hashirama's implanted in him to help him control Shukaku and his plan would have been a success. That part makes him a moron if you think about it.

After reading this thread I also believe that Danzo was a part of the "crush the leaf" plan. Shukaku runs rampant throughout Konoha, Danzo can come save the village, win the title of Hokage which he always wanted, and run the village his way. We know Danzo and Orochimaru have the same mindset, and they did work together.

It's merely plot holes plus the third could no doubt have taken down Shukaku because Gaara has to expose himself via coming out of its forehead when he releases it. Oro wanted to crush the leaf and the sand joined in who brought Shukaku along, honestly I doubt Shukaku even mattered that much to Oro in this situation.

I'll admit that it could be just a plot hole, but the entire situation just seems too perfect

The ideal situation would have been for Gaara to weaken Sasuke in their battle. Then Gaara goes on a rampage with Shukaku. Oro pins down Hiruzen like he did in the manga so that he won't interfere. A small army of sound and sand shinobi invade Konoha to back Shukaku up and take out the army of Konoha while they try to fight Shukaku. Kabuto goes for a weakened Sasuke and kidnaps him. Kabuto then flees with Sasuke. Oro kills Hiruzen and sends the sound four after his anbu guards so he can escape. Danzo then walks out of his hiding place and subdues Shukaku with Shisui's Sharingan. Shukaku turns back into Gaara and the sand siblings rescue him and retreat with Oro's other shinobi. The village is pretty beat up, but Danzo is the hero of the day. To repay him, they appoint him Hokage

Danzo's happy because Hiruzen is dead and he is finally Hokage

Oro's happy because he has Sasuke in his possession and Konoha will not bother him anymore

This entire situation almost happened and seems too good to be true to be a plot hole. If it is true, we'll find out soon enough

He knew that Danzo would NOT interfere. Oro worked with Root so I'm sure they had a good relationship.

But... at the point of the invasion, there is no certainty that he had the 1st Cells in his body at this time. The Ulchiha massacre didnt happen yet so where did he get sharigans to control tailed beasts at this moment??? Even if your talking about having Hashi's cells, Danzo did NOT know how to use the cells effeciently or he would have been doing Mokoton moves on Sauske. I doubt back then he had Hashi cells and the ability to control tailed beast with the cells (without Sharingans).
