I understand this may be a lil' long. So I'm going to do a TLDR at the top: In most of Oro's fights he was handicapped or just amusing himself and not taking it seriously. What are his real capabilities?
With Orochimaru back in the picture I began to wonder what can he really do??? We all know the snake queen is pretty much not going away. If the sword of totsuka doesnt get rid of him, nothing will. He performed a voldemort with his soul splitting and placement in separate vessals.
I would like to propose 2 questions to you all at NB. 1st~~ What is orochimaru's arsenal??
He should have created many "shades of green" by now, but everything he has shown just feels rather trivial as of late when we compare it to all the greats in narutoverse. I would say besides his soul transferring technique; his enhancement and furthering of Edo Tensei is Orochimaru's premier accomplishment. I have witnessed alot of taijutsu and body morphing, but not as much ninjutsu/senjutsu as I was expecting. I havent seen any chakra recomposition, sign of element affinity, nor any kekke genkai.
In part 1, we know that just about everything he did was child's play to him..that was the feeling the manga gave. In the Forest of Death, Oro performed a kage bunshin, a snake summoning, and the curse mark; against Anko/Naruto/Sasuke, respectively.
The fight with Hiruzen is maybe one exception, (due to the gravity of Edo Tensei in its first appearance) but even then he was toying with his sensei. Oro only used: Edo Tensei, 1st, 2nd Hokage,(which involves some sealing knowledge) and his sword of Kusanagi. That was it.---Although it could be argued that was because Hiruzen stopped his plan and crippled his student to the point Oro could no longer fight.
Next oro fight? With cursed arms against a poisoned Jaraiya. Orochimaru just bit him and tossed him with his tongue. Kabuto was the one to summon Manda.
Part 2- still sick and shows some desperation. Next big Oro fight? With Naruto ofc. I understand plot got in the way, his body was decaying yet he still "played" with naruto. The biggest things he did was the snake tide, a high speed snake-punch haha, and 3 gates summoning.
Next fight
oro vs sasuke. Complete white snake transformation that carries an attribute that makes his blood turn into poison when it hits oxygen
The last, most recent Oro fight was pretty much a cameo thanks to Itachi, but it showed an impressive jutsu for him, finally: The Hydra.

This is all when he's messing around or in a weakened state.
So now that he's been revived, has the use of his arms, and stocked up on sage chakra...what can he do? what will he do? The 2nd question is a two-parter---Would you call that an arsenal???-if not-Will he ever gain/reveal an arsenal on par with other top shinobi?
