Tobi was the best, plus I was one of the original people who just knew It was Obito under the mask, so I wasn’t surprised. But to I was the best and invincible.

Tobious is the best villain.
-He controlled 10 s rank shinobis
-He controlled the mist village
-At the age of 20yrs he killed the 4th mizukage who is a perfect jinchuuriki
-Age of 14 he fought Minato and Hiruzen, despite losing the battle he killed Minato.
-Challenged the 5 nations to a war using the power of 7 bijus under his control
-Alter ego is ObitoBobito.
-Had more senju power than Orochimaru
-Had way more powerful chakra than Orochimaru (because rikudou power)
-Orochimaru was his subordinate in one point in time.

Tobi wins this as the best villain, part 2 wouldn’t exist without Tobi and 1/4 of part 1. Orochimaru did a good job covering 3/4ths of part 1.

Who's Bobito :| you troll

How about you stop trolling first?

OT: If it wasn't obvious enough, it's Orochimaru in my opinion.

>A mysterious and interesting character whose past is still unknown.
>Managed to be relevant from the start up till the end of the series, and even now, in Boruto.
>Badass and the creepiest villain Naruto ever had.
>He's powerful and it's kinda impossible to kill him completely.
>His complex personality to me puts him above any other villain in the series.
>He's a far more developed character than Obito.
>Naruto's rival's sensei.
>He's unpreditable.
>Incredibly smart and managed to become one of the strongest characters despite not having sage mode or being from any of the 4 known powerful clans (Senju, Uchiha, Uzumaki, and the Hyuuga clan).
>Akatsuki member, Root member, the head of the sound village, and he's possibly related to Kara.
>His achievements cannot be compared to any villain besides Madara.

Obito was way better than Orochimaru. Not only were his powers and abilities much cooler, but his character was much deeper, relatable and likable. Obito was a man who lost all that he loved to the cruel shinobi world, and so he sought to change the world and prevent that from happening to other people.

Meanwhile, Orochimaru was just a bunch of incompleteness to me. He had potential, but he never really delivered. So many of his plotlines just kinda vanished without any real closure.

Examples:

He wanted to master every jutsu. With someone who is pursuing that kind of goal, you'd think that they would be top tier in terms of power. Yet we never really saw any extraordinary jutsus from Orochimaru! The only thing we really saw was Edo tensei and snake jutsus! When Orochimaru fought Hiruzen in part 1, I was like "Bro, where are all those jutsus that you've supposedly mastered?". That one little wind style doesn't cut it.

Another example is his pursuit of the sharingan (and specifically an Uchiha body). After Sasuke defeated him so nonchalantly, once Orochimaru got revived during the war, that plot point was just gone (even though he said that he wanted Sasuke's body, he never plotted anything, planned anything, and he he never even tried going after Sarada). Ultimately, nothing ever came out of that goal.

Then there was also the wanting to destroy Konoha plot point. We never really got the true full reason why he wanted to destroy it, and then he never tried it again after the first time. Then during the war, all of a sudden he didn't want to.

Do you see what I'm saying?

To me, Orochimaru was just a bunch of startups with no completion or consistency.

Even as a character we never really got much about his backstory and motivations (we know that his parents died when he was young and we don't even know how. That's it).

All in all, Orochimaru had potential, but he didn't deliver.

That doesn't matter. It's not about how much you lose. It's about what you specifically lose and what that person/thing means to you.

Kakashi and the Uchiha clan clearly didn't mean that much to him (at least not in comparison to Rin). I can actually understand this too.

If I lost my true love, I wouldn't give a crap about the fact that some dude on my team is still there and that there are still other black people (I'm black). Those people don't provide me with nearly the same amount of happiness as my love. I would want my girl back!

Anyway, that aside, Rin's death was just the catalyst to make Obito realize that Madara was right. The war and all associated events weren't done solely for Rin.

Obito was never a villain

You're right. He was actually a hero along with Madara who sought out true eternal peace. I was just classifying him as a "villain" in this case more so in the sense that he was an antagonist (even though he wasn't evil).

@bold: true love:lmao: Obito wanted her for whatever reason, there's nothing to prove it was true love if such a thing exists. He was just upset he could never tell her and get rejected or get accepted and give her a good dicking. So wanted to do all of that in the dream world and as a bonus help everybody else.
