True, I will acknowledge that he is very difficult to kill physically, but I haven't seen anything stating it is impossible. As for the TBB, I wouldn't call that a fair statement. It was only a 4 tail TBB and it was blocked a great deal by the Triple Rashomon.

Yeah he's not afraid of Itachi, that's why he left the Akatsuki after that humiliation from him...
