No, that's not how it went. Orochimaru wanted to take over Sasuke's body then Sasuke did some sort of genjutsu and reversed it and took Orochimaru instead. Why would Orochimaru want that? he wanted to take over his body like all the bodies before Sasuke where he has total control over it.

True, I will acknowledge that he is very difficult to kill physically, but I haven't seen anything stating it is impossible. As for the TBB, I wouldn't call that a fair statement. It was only a 4 tail TBB and it was blocked a great deal by the Triple Rashomon.

Genjutsu aside, I wonder how well he would do against several amaterasu assaults from Madara.
