which of the two do you think is better? I just re watched them both and I have to side with Spiderman as I found it more emotionally compelling, which the dark knight doesn't give me . Though the dark knight probably has more interesting villains.

what do you think?

Both are great adaptions. Spiderman feels more nostalgic to me however.

The Tobi McGuire trilogy?? Dark knight movies all the way, the first Spider-Man was great, the next 2, not so much

The Dark Knight triology - top of the superhero genre for me.

They were all great. Spiderman 1 > 3 > 2.

No way. Three is terrible, especially in comparison to two.

OT: Dark Knight Trilogy has this.

2 trumps 3, 3 had better ideas though. Tobi just didn't pull off the "unhinged Parker" all that good, plus venom was a total fail in execution. The DK trilogy on the other hand had only lil missteps here and there(imo of course)

#2 was the most unmemorable to me. #3 wasn't bad, but to each their own. Still better than the new spiderman adaptions.

I agree DK trilogy > Spiderman, I only said Spiderman due to growing up with that, and heavily watching it. DK by far is better. Christian Bale > Ben Affleck.

Eh, I liked Spiderman 3, was way more memorable than two imo.

The first new one was good, I think Garfield was a better Parker, but the 2nd new one was god awful and way worse than any of the original 3

Two was the first superhero movie to explore the person behind the mask in depth. It pretty much changed the entire genre, not to mention having the best fight scene in ANY superhero movie up until that point. When you look at it, it is quite the movie, and that is something I only realized after I rewatched it, as before that I also thought it was pretty forgettable.

But...yeah, Spiderman 3 vs the first Amazing Spider Man is debatable. The second one was bad, but I think there is a lot of good in the first one.

Toby's ? lolol those movies were shit. The amazing Spiderman 1 & 2 are great. But the Dark Knight trilogy is best out of those two.

Well I know it doesn't mean "better" exactly but the Spiderman trilogy made more money and it was released earlier so the costs per ticket were lower and it was one of the earlier movies so it didn't have the superhero bandwagon helping it as much.

The first of the two I enjoyed when I saw them at release (younger with Spiderman of coarse) was equal
Numero dos of both I liked mainly for the villain
But I LOVE Dark Knight Rises & hated SM3.

So DKT for sure

Spiderman, I like how Toby depicted spiderman and the struggles he faced. It felt more real life to me than that **** Garfields ones. :|

I. The first two Toby Spidey movies were good, the third one was trash imo

II. the only good Dark Knight movie imo was the second with Heath, first was boring third wasnt as good as the second but tried to be

so spidey for me

though i wish they would just pick an actor, i mean i liked the other Amazing Spider-Man Guy, Toby was good. im not understanding why theyre so picky on this
