Original DBZ or DB super

DBZ was better. Although I only liked DBZ when I was a kid. I doubt it would suit me now due to lack of fanservice.

DB Super is a try hard trash compared to the original. Canonly Super Sayain 3 Goku is the best looking transformation.

Hold on Shaz. Seriously? I will admit that Dragonball Super has its flaws, but it's only 57 episodes in. Did you not see that fight in the most recently episode? Furthermore, did you not see the epic character development of Beerus, Whis, Zamasu, Future Trunks, and Black Goku?

That and the animation is getting better.

The manga version does better when it comes to power scaling.

Anime power scaling comes from the idea that goku absorbed God Ki which powered up his base form and allowed him to fight beerus in SSJ

While the manga version states nothing of goku being powered up by God Ki outside of SSJ God and shows goku didn't fight beerus as a SSJ and only fought him while in his SSJ God form. Allowing power scaling in the manga to go much smoother.

such as why goku even bothered to go SSJ on frost or even bothering to go SSJ against future trunks and such. Plus piccolo put up a far far better fight against frost in the manga instead of him just sitting there like a idiot charging Special beam cannon and simply dodging which is what happened in the anime.

And of course in the manga Goku didn't do kaioken + SSJ blue in the manga which created a massive gap between him and vegeta and deals with blacks power levels seemingly better making him seem alot less weak than he did in the anime version due to Trunks having power matching that or being close to that of SSJ 3 Goku and still not being able to defeat black, while in the anime trunks got easily pounded into the ground by ssj goku in the anime.

Manga isn't canon. The anime is.

The fight was intense and the animation was fluid. I haven't felt this excitement from any of the previous fights in Super.

Hold on Shaz. Seriously? I will admit that Dragonball Super has its flaws, but it's only 57 episodes in. Did you not see that fight in the most recently episode? Furthermore, did you not see the epic character development of Beerus, Whis, Zamasu, Future Trunks, and Black Goku?

I didn't watch the recent fight. And honestly it makes no difference how many episodes DBS is in. 57 episodes is more than enough to leave a good impression or bad. So far this rehash hasn't been anything more than a waste. The build up of Black Goku felt forced.

Naw Beerus and Whis are a weak point of this series for me. Read my other opinions earlyier I explained why. I am not feeling the excitement because there are too many things unconsistent with this series. I only followed the Black arc but it hasn't really impressed me all that much compared to what I have watched already.

Gohan was never a fighter. I mean, yes, he does like fighting, but the violence of it all always put him off. Thus, in the end of DBZ (not the start of DBS) they made him a scholar. The end goal for him was always to settle down and stop fighting, even if the idea of becoming a scholar was more his mother's than his own.

I believe that goal was for any shonen manga up to date. DBZ is no exception.

In the end when you achieve peace you stop fighting. Gohan was more of someone who had to get it dragged out of him. I feel his purpose of life was truly admirable but his excution was done poorly. There is nothing wrong with settling down to becoming a scholar. The issue arises when you let everything go that made you the best. If he wants to truly settle down than he can still be as strong as he was before while settling down. Cause as a man you still need to be physically stronger for your family.

And? Goku and vegeta far surpassed everyone and rightfully so. You want more fan service or you want a story? Everyone else was far weaker ever since saiyan saga. Its the reality. Gohan doesn't have a fighting role anymore. Time for you to move on.

So you want to wank a series that focuses on only two characters instead of the ones who actually kept you held on to the series? Lets face it the story is shit. So the story won't win you much audience besides the fighting. If you restrict the fighters to two than you got a boring series. And trust me I have moved on. Thats why I won't let nostologia overtake my judgement of the series.

Maybe its about time you get off your own diapers and start walking.

Anyone else think it's insane Zamasu is the first DB villian in history to actually wish for immortality. Frieza and Vegeta sought it but Zamasu was 1st to achieve it with dragon balls.

I didn't watch the latest episode but did they seriously knockout Vegeta early on to let Trunks and Goku fight? I mean that is shit honestly. I hated it when Vegeta got shafted out against Golden Frieza as well. I as a fan would be displeased with this treatment of a character who is supposed to be the main character's equal. There is like zero logic in this series which makes it horrifying.

I am hardly crying. Just stating a opinion like you are supposed to do on a forum. This site is not even a DBZ site for you to be telling me not to post here. Besides by your logic most people would have left this site if they began hating on Naruto.

Moving on doesn't mean you completely forget what you watched in the past. It means to see through what you saw in the past without using biased nostlogia.

He was an idiot and got sucked into his own death zone technique thingy.. i haven't even seen that movie but i've seen the filler episodes where he came back after escaping the death zone somehow, just to then be sucked back into hit, cause he's a moron.. why would you use the only technique that can "kill" him.
