Recently ,we aware that Kaguya motive is to convert every human and animals into zetsu clones for her own army.She will accomplish her zetsu army by placing the humans and animals into a cacoon.

Orichimaru body is already made up of zetsu ,therefore he do not need any further tranformation tobecome a zetsu state.Therefore,Orichimaru should be awaken by the absent of I.T due to moon rays being blocked.

We have seen something/someone seem to be escaping in the past chapter .There could be a high possibility that Orichimaru will be the person..Why will kishi emphasize on one particular cacoon and also shown it unwrapping?

If my theory is wrong ,there is a plan B theory i made that still result to orichimaru being Awaken.Orichimaru being a research,should known something about kaguya or infinite tsukyomi to some extent.He probably made an early plan for his escape by using Yamato body,Do you remember Orichimaru placed a cure mark on him? It was stated in a much earlier chapter after Sasuke revive Orichimaru ,that Orichimaru was aware of everything happen through his conscious in the curse mark of anko.Therefore,Orichimaru probably hid himself inside yamato and waited till the ray is over in the cacoon to take over his body because yamato was alway weaken by spiral zetsu control.

This just showing Orichimaru planted a curse mark on Yamato

This also show that Orichimaru can be aware of his surrounding eventhough he in the curse mark seal.Since the curse mark is a seal,the I.T ray should not penetrate this barrier..

So what is orichimaru intention?Orichimaru originally wanted Immortality and understanding of everything.Kaguya is the main source of chakra and power ,the story started from her.Therefore,Orichimaru will have to do something with her later down the manga.Tenten already set all the sage items together for Madara sealing,therefore it should play a big role against kaguya.I do not know if Orichimaru will take the sage scroll to seal kaguya and use her chakra as his experiment or wait till she is weaken by Sasuke and Naruto ,then tae over her body.What do you think?

That's a very good and interesting Idea you have there. The curse mark looks as if its on the spiral zetsu and not on Yamato. The spiral zetsu is more like a suit than anything else. When Obito wore it he did not receive any damage from using it. As for the cacoon, it could go both ways it could be unwrapping or being wrapped.
