T'was a sunny day as was sitting beneath a tree with his back leaning on tree's trunk, his cane laying on the grass. He was wearing a pair of straight pantaloons and a white dress shirt that had seen better days. What was different between this and other days was that Sherlock seemed more distant than usually, yet you could see the passion burning within his eyes. The hours passed as Sherlock was just sitting there, waiting for somebody very important that would come and guide him on his way.

(Note to all readers do not vm or pm or post requesting training this is a solo training and only training session i am going to hold)

welcome young samurai, i shall be instructing you personally on the art of kenjutsu and samurai so that you may follow the path and train others for me. we shall start with some basics as always the general basics for samurai is following the way of kendo and its stances. so firstly stand straight towards me with your shoulders parallel to your feet. Then place your right foot slightly forwards whilst shuffling it a few paces and not lifting and at the same time shuffle your left foot backwards.

*shows you each step as instructed and awaits you to do the same*

I listen to your description and follow carefully your steps as you show them to me. As my turn comes I take a place in which I am standing straight towards me and move my arms and legs so that my shoulders are parallel to my feet. Then, as you instructed I place my right foot forwards while shuffling it (without lifting it of course) and shuffle my left foot backwards at the same time.

Good work, this is the basic posture of samurai now clench your fists and to your sides and the outer hand facing downwards. Then take your left hand placing it onto the scabbard at your left side and taking your right to unsheave your katana, whilst taking a vicegrip at a 45 degree angel at the base of the hilt and unsheave the katana. As you bring it fully out the scabbard bring your left hand taking the same grip to the bottom of the hilt and then level the hilt to your belly at about a fist distance away then raise the blade to point at my throat and keep that stance with the same posture maintaining the square posture of having your shoulders parallel like this diagram below:

I grab my cane and hold it with both of my hands so that my right hand is holding the handle of it and my left hand holds it from the other end. After that I twist my left hand that causes a loud clicking sound be heard as I detach the two parts and reveal the sword cane. I then follow instructions you gave to me and grab the handle of the sword with both of my hands while placing it on my stomach level and point your head with it. Once having alligned my sword, I watch once left and right to adjust my position so that my shoulders parallel in square posture.

Good work, now that the basic position has been attained we shall move onto basic attack and defence. For attack i want you to raise your sword above your head keeping it in the center of your body and your right left hand just above your head and then as you bring it down step forward with your right foot first into the attack aiming for this dummies head and then step backwards with your left foot first then bringing your sword back to the same starting position aiming for the neck. this in kendo is known as Men-do

'Very well... Men-do it is then.''

I keep the stance in which I am in and slowly raise my sword above my head whistl keeping it in the center of my body. As my left hand reaches the height just above my head I swing the sword down while stepping forward. I then swiftly step backwards with my left foot first and bring my sword back to the strating position. I continue repeating this for few more times until I stop and place the sword so that it rests on my shoulder.

''That wasn't so hard, was it?''

Good now for a defence i will use the same attack on you and what i want you to do is bring your sword upwards in the center line of your body and as my sword comes down at you pivot your right hand whilst maintaining your left strong to tap the sword outwards giving you the openining to attack and in that moment bring your sword back centrally and lift up to your head and bring down towards my head but only do the motion without the speed and stop at my head please

*takes the basic stance and brings up my sword and steps forwards into the cut as i bring down my sword slowly*

''Bring it on, whippersnapper''

As you take the basic stance I do the same and watch you approach me with one step. I tighten my graps around the sword's hilt and bring it up swiftly while slightly tilting it left with my right hand. The counter causes our swords to clash, deflecting yours and sending it back whistl quickly turning my sword from left side to center. At the same time I take a step forward and bring my sword down upon you and stop it before it hits your body.

Well then lets get down to business as we are only training in the techniques the first technique being.

(Kossetsu Ashige) - Fracture Strike
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will draw their sword and release a pressurised cresent blade of chakra at the target causing them to be hit with a strong force of chakra.(The technique is capable of countering Ninjutsu B rank and below due to the chakra charge)
Note: Can only be used by samurai biographies
Note: Usable only 3 times per battle

For this technique you basically concentrate and channel your chakra into your blade. Then begin to condence the chakra making it more powerful and with the kendo stance Sha no Kame in the diagram above as a means to wield the blade and swing the katana outwards and slashing upwards release the pressurised chakra into the shape of a cresent that is shot at the wooden dummy and then when done bring your katana back to the center position pointing to my throat.

I face the dummy and take the Sha no Kame stance while wielding my blade outwards. I grab the handle tightly as I continue with the basic charkra circulation to guide some of my chakra into the sword. I stand there with eyes closed for about ten seconds, maintaining the chakra flow whilst my sword begins to radiate blue-ish glow. After the ten seconds have passed, I open my eyes and swing the sword upwards to see a thin blue crescent be released from the edge of my sword that hits the dummy, shattering it in two.

''Well, this was most... unexpected. Seems like this training isn't just a waste of time.''

Now we proceed with the next technique:

(Hadan no Jutsu) - Rapture Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After envoking the samurai saber technique to use the chakra flow and then the user swings their sword and strikes his/her opponent.
(The technique is capable of countering Ninjutsu B rank and below due to the chakra charge)
Note: Can only be used by Samurai Biographies.
Note: Usable only 3 times per battle.

for this technique i want you to take the same pose again and concentrate your chakra into your katana, this is basically similar to the samurai saber but less powerful and then by raising your sword above your head or in any postion you wish swing the katana forwards to release the energy whilst striking at one the wooden dummies and as you swing it down step into the attack, then when done step backwards with small steps and return to the position to await further instructions

I approach the dummy and stop in front of it. Then I take the Sha no Kamae position again and place my blade outwards as . I guide my chakra into it to cause it to glow with blue-ish tint. I think for a second what would be the best way to hit the dummy and decide to go for a horizontal swing with the sword. I tighten my grip on the handle and make a swing at the dummy while altering my position so that I return to Sha no Kamae stance this time facing the other direction.
