Is it really effective against Ama? My reason for questioning its effectiveness is because of this scan here after it was used (bottom left) . If one uses it, does that really mean the body won't be harmed at all?

Sasuke used it when Ama didn't fully cover him but the part it hit was affected after Oral rebirth. That's why Sasuke escaped from the part that wasn't cover by Ama . If one who's fully covered from the instant they're looked at, what happens? We know Ama can be much bigger

Just asking btw.

Oral rebirth FTW Amatratsu is baby Jutsu at this point

It completely heals user of any type of damage...

Oral rebirth is a great counter for Amaterasu

It honestly depends on where the Amaterasu lands. If it were to hit somewhere near the mouth where the second body would emerge, then it's likely to spread to it and another quick body shed would be required. Usually one or two I find is what would be required to perfectly escape Amaterasu.

As for the scan of the larger Amaterasu - That size of the attack usually is only used when the target is of great sizes. I.E. Sasuke's fire ball, the Hachibi. At least that would be true for any MS uses of it. So it really doesn't matter too much for this, unless used on Yamata No Orochi.

It all depends where Amaterasu is spawned. .( )-( )-( ). If Amaterasu hit the head and spread to the body it's over for any oral rebirth user.

Ama doesn't cover the whole body anyway[ ] So where ever its looking at will get ignited first. By this time oral rebirth will be effective.

Different situation, if there wasn't a crack under him he would of died. Not only that but it never hit his head nor was the fire even capable of hitting his head because it's under the ceiling.

Ama cannot be much bigger bro. It ignites what is in it's line of sight. Since The habachi was in his line of sight it ignited what it seen (Which was a far view of the 8 tails).

That doesn't show it's a necessary counter though. After Oral rebirth, you could still see some damage done to the part it hit. He cut through the ground to escape from the part that wasn't touched by Ama. It takes a lot of chakra when using Oral and yet he used more chakra to cut through the ground leading me to believe if one is fully covered, he won't escape Amaterasu. I saw your previous post and yes Amaterasu can cover the whole body. I showed 2 scan of it being able to do so even though it's unlikely.

Yeah bro but if it does see a person's full body, won't it set their whole body on fire?

Well since the user sheds their skin/body, ama is practically useless. Well until they run out of chakra, oral rebirth seems to use more chakra than ama. Even if their entire body is cover, the user of oral rebirth should still be able to shed of the ama inflicted skin.

Amaterasu burns slower.

The user can use Orochimaru-ryuu Kawarimi, not "oral rebirth", before Amaterasu has burnt through.

Oral Rebirth got dumped for a reason, and a good one.

oral rebirth counters Amaterasu perfectly
It simply involves a new body being formed meaning any part that's ignited by the flames won't belong to the user . once oral rebirth is used

what about it
I don't see how that stops oral rebirth from countering amaterasu

They would literally have to be far distance. And in that case they can easily side step. The closer Ama is user the better and faster, the futher it is use makes more concentration required. (Like binoculars)
